Experimental study on solar phase change storage floor radiant heating system application to an office building in Urumqi

Proposes a new solar energy phase change thermal storage floor radiant heating system, and builds an experimental rig for an office building in Urumqi. Based on the theory of solar energy phase change thermal storage,presents the heating methods of this system. According to the thermal performance index of the system, evaluates the heating performance under different conditions. The experimental results show that when solar radiation is higher than 13 MJ/m2, the application of the proposed system can realize the full utilization of solar energy for heating, the operative temperature of heating room is 6 to 7 ℃ higher than non-heating room, when solar radiation can satisfy the heat storage requirement, the heat storage capacity per unit mass of DX-53 adopted in this research is twice as much as that of water source, and based on the system operation strategy acquired by experiment, the average solar fraction of the system is 63%, and it can reach 77%in November and 100% in March respectively during winter heating period in Urumqi.
